experimental deckbuilder
Changlog; things that have been changed.
- Enemies can be stunned during combat, skipping their turn and increasing their attack by 2. If there’s more than 2 enemies, this will happen to 1 enemy, if there’s more than 3, it will happen to 2 instead.
- When a player card dies, and when you start a battle, the player will receive a “corpse” card, which can be used to stun enemies.
- All stats on all cards changed to have more health. In addition, cards should have crazier combos.
- Expect bugs. Tutorial cannot be completed; skip it with devmode.
Goals; things we are trying to achieve with the changes. When you give feedback, the goal is to give feedback that can help achieve these goals.
- Battle difficulty curve, which encourages players to be aggressive, and gives them time to engine build and do combos.
- The player has more freedom, both in options during combat and deckbuilding. In addition, there are more difficult choices during combat.
- Deckbuilding combos are more satisfying to pull off; and are more fluid to do.
- Battles have a more manageable mental overhead, making the game more fun to play.
