1.0 wall jump speedrunning game demo
there is sound! turn your volume up!
default controls (you can change those in the key bindings menu)
- move; arrow keys to move. run to build up speed!
- jump; hold up arrow key to jump. holding the jump button will jump higher, and you will jump higher if you are jumping higher!
- wall jump; click jump while on a wall. after you have jumped, you can use arrow keys to navigate!
- dive; while in air, click the down arrow key. diving is useful if you need an extra little boost, or if you need to drop quickly.
- slide; while on the ground, click the down arrow key to slide. sliding is experimental, so some parts of it may not be polished!
- restart level; use the button at the top right corner, or click r to quickly start over a level!
- go to menu; used the button at the top right corner, or click m to quickly go to the menu!
don't feel bad if you can't get very many stars. those are some fairly advanced levels if you don't really know the controls very well. however, we would love to hear your times and get feedback from you on our discord! https://discord.gg/Hkq3fw2h9D

First of all, I just wanted to say that I saw your post on discord and wanted to try out the game and give you some feedback.
I think the game is cool and the art is fine, especially for this type of game. I really liked how the animals eyes change when you jump on them!
I found the controls to be a bit frustrating. I read how to play, and then my hand immediately went to w,a,s,d on the keyboard and I was confused as to why I was not moving. This is most likely because I believe that is the standard way to move a character in a platform style game (at least mostly). Moving with the arrows keys feels clunky (because you're now using your off hand unless you slide your main hand to the other side of the keyboard), especially because you then have to take you hand back off of the keyboard and use the mouse to control the UI.
After a few tries, I was able to get some of the highest scores though!
Hello! on the level select screen, there is a key bindings button. it looks like a < b, but I should change it to a cog or something else. if you click it from the level select, you will be able to change the key bindings. hopefully that will help you enjoy the game more!
if you want to talk in discord, feel free to ping me!
I must not have seen it. Thanks for your reply! I'll check it out again and try setting up my controls.
